"Is he good?" is such a random question (especially when you're the wrong person to be asking), but exactly the kind of things strangers do enquire of dogs. (And sometimes children!) Really well-observed.
I loved everything about" Is He Good," Pipp. Adventures and foibles tumbling out in ways you could never plan. Thanks for inviting us along. And thanks for the kind word...
May something lovely and completely unexpected find you and twirl you about today.
There is such a wonderful reality to this Pipp, and you write it with all your usual light and lilt. I don’t need to ask this question about any of the dogs around here, unfortunately the answer is in their snarl… farmers dogs are all the same on this hill - they soul carry a warning! I did bump into a very friendly and highly excitable Maltese terrier in the village on Friday though… left with muddy kisses all up my jeans! 😂
Thanks for the shout out my lovely… I hope you’re making progress on book No 2 ♥️xx
I must admit I laughed at the thought of your jeans muddied with Maltese’s enthusiasm😂
Sorry for all the typos in the sent version! Written too fast- I should know better by now! Extraordinary how we don’t see all the mistakes at first!
I think I would feel quite scared walking on your hill! You are very brave.
Book is coming along slowly. So many family distractions in the last month😅but I have made headway this Friday. Thank goodness. I just want to write the next book tbh😂
And how is the short story coming? Hope you are relaxing
I have been forced to relax PIpp, my body is refusing to comply with desire! This wretched bug is hanging on, or rather tricks me into thinking it is gone and then a day later sticks up two fingers at me again... I am frustrated but resined!
My story is not abandoned but is not progressing either, brain fog/flu fog which ever have made writing almost impossible, even my weekly journal notes are not flowing this week... and I've two other pieces to write also... I am trying not to let stress take hold but I am feeling the rumblings...
I just have to be quiet and still for a few days and all will be well but as you know, neither are my forte! 😂
I have no idea how you squeeze everything in, I feel like free time is as scarce as snowflakes! xx
Such a wonderful post Pipp! I love your writing style, so fresh and engaging. I have a golden mutt, and he is most definitely not good, but also completely wonderful 😁 and I love that you are sharing the love too, you’ve done it brilliantly 💛✨
Many thanks Emily you set the bar high! What a coincidence you have a golden, rascal of a hound🥰. Amazing how we share our lives and homes with such cheeky fur balls isn’t it!

It is! You’re right! Dog owners have a chatter peculiar to them. And they’ll talk to anyone🙂

Thanks David. I shall look for the twirl. Happy Saturday
Almond blossoms! I knew this had to be somewhere not too far from here...
Waving Olá across the Iberian peninsula from Central Portugal 👋
great writing, Pipp, and lovely to meet you.
(sorry about the coffee though)
Thanks Veronika nice to meet you too. Hola back🙂
What a sweet offering. Felt like I was right alongside you, striding then sipping. And stunning first blossoms!
Thank you Kimberly, well how lovely that you sauntered with me, your company means a lot to me. So glad you liked it.

You really did get a nasty bug. Poor you!
I am relieved to hear you are resting. Rest!! Yes it will do the world of good! You can do it!!!
The story will be better for the break I think that often happens.
Time is as scarce as snowflakes I agree. Trying, equally to stay calm
