I’ve tried recording my voice before Pip, it’s not easy to listen to one’s own sound, I honestly applaud you for this and as always your poetry is, for want of better words, ‘bang on’ !!
We are now waiting to see if the next storm, forecast at 15h actually arrives, as I sit here, once again sweltering in this infernal heat, I have my doubts… and you know what, once it does start raining I will probably be pining for warm sunshine again… 🙄
It rained at about 2, twenty minutes of rain and then nothing, it evaporated as fast as it fell… it was better than nothing and at the very least the sheep field is damp rather than dusty dry and my sheep have stopped calling for food every five minutes… I’ve run up and down to them so many times in the last two months I’ve lost weight… and yup, the humidity is horrible now!
